Make sure your loved ones can access your digital legacy - even when you can’t be there to help.
Prepare sensitive documents, instructions, and account information in an encrypted safe, then transfer it to someone you trust. If you stop extending the timelock, the key eventually becomes available to them.
SafelyShare stores account details, safe metadata, and wrapped keys—not your safe files.
How SafelyShare works
Prepare your digital legacy for someone you trust, transfer it securely now, and control access with a timelock.
Create and encrypt a safe
Choose the photos, videos, and documents you want to share. SafelyShare encrypts them on your phone before they leave it.
Connect the two phones
Sign in on both phones, connect them to the same local network, and scan the recipient’s QR code to transfer the safe.
Set the timelock
Keep extending the timelock while the safe should stay closed. When it expires, the recipient gets the key needed to open the files.
Protect your digital legacy with a direct, encrypted handoff
Prepare sensitive information for someone you trust. SafelyShare encrypts and transfers it now, while the timelock controls access later.
Encrypted before transfer
SafelyShare encrypts each file on your phone with AES-256-GCM before sending it.
Timed access
Choose a timelock interval and extend it whenever the safe should remain closed.
Files stay off our servers
SafelyShare stores account details, safe metadata, and wrapped keys. Your safe files stay on your devices.
Direct local transfer
Connect two signed-in phones with a QR code and transfer over the same local network.
Your files go to the recipient—not our servers
SafelyShare encrypts files on the sender’s phone and transfers them directly to the recipient on the same local network. Our server stores only the account data, safe metadata, and wrapped keys needed to run the timelock.
Encrypted on the sender’s phone
Each file is encrypted before transfer.
No server file storage
Our server does not receive or store your safe files.
Direct local transfer
Encrypted files move directly between the two signed-in phones.
Start with the Free plan
Create up to two safes at no cost. More options are in development.
